16.2. IoTLab business breakfast – ohjelman tarjoaa Rohde & Schwarz
IoTLabin vuosi aloitetaan Rohde & Schwarz:in isännöimällä aamiaistapahtumalla.
Tapahtuma pidetään 16.2. klo 09-11 Technopoliksen Hekla-tilassa (osoite Teknobulevardi 3-5, Vantaa). Tapahtuma on maksuton ja sisältää aamukahvit. Paikkoja rajoitetusti.
Tapahtuman pääpuhujana toimii Joerg Koepp ja hän pitää esityksensä englanniksi.
Everything you need to know about Low-Power WAN devices
Low-power wide-area networks (LP-WAN) will enable a bunch of IoT applications that typically transmit only a tiny amount of data, that are often quite tolerant regarding communication delays, but which are requiring very low device costs, and very long battery live time. Examples are any kind of environmental sensor networks, tracking, smart metering, smart building, or smart parking applications.
- We will guide you to the most promising LP-WAN technologies like LoRa, Sigfox, eMTC and NB-IoT.
- We will demystify LTE’s power saving features eDRX/PSM and the optimized network architecture CIoT EPS.
- We will explain how to address the low power design challenge and how testing can help to optimize the power consumption in a very smart way.
